@RemoteQTH This USB power delivery dongle requests 15V from the power supply. While 12V seems the right value to ask for, many of the common laptop power supplies only provide 9V or 15V. This device requests 15V and regulates linearly to 13.8V while conditioning and filtering the line.

Save for the output connector, I can imagine this could easily be adapted for many radios Still, my inexpensive USB-C PD cables off Amazon aren't noisy, but only perhaps for my choice of battery pack: Charmast 100W, same as pictured below.
