The Democrat DHS Shutdown is causing real pain for our fellow Americans. It is disgraceful and wrong, and it must end. It's far past time for Chuck Schumer and Senate Democrats to stop blocking Homeland Security funding and put our country over partisan politics.

The rise in virulent antisemitism should alarm every American. Over the last several years, we have seen synagogues attacked, Jewish Americans targeted for practicing their faith, and unhinged conspiracies about Jews controlling the government, media, and economy being mainstreamed. Antisemitism affects every one of us, whether we are Jewish or not. We cannot live up to the ideals of personal freedom and religious liberty that America was founded on and that our Founding Fathers and generations of Americans over the years have fought and died for, if any of our fellow Americans do not feel safe to live their lives and practice their religion in peace and safety. All of us have a responsibility to call out antisemitism, hatred, and bigotry in all of its forms whenever we see it. We will not tolerate hatred and extremism to take root in our great nation.
