This woman parked her car over the line. The man parked in the parking spot next to her, however he had to park close to her to be in his lines perfectly. When the man came back he saw the woman taking pictures of his car, claiming he hit it and scratched her car. The problem is the damage is higher than his car and there is no damage on his car, the paint transfer doesn’t match the color of his car. Others came to his aid and even told her that the damage doesn’t match up and that the damage to her car looked old. She later admitted it was already there as she smiles knowing she got caught trying to scam someone. He had room next to him, couldn’t he have parked over further so he wasn’t so close, wouldn’t you at least call the police?

What strikes me about satire like this is how easily it lands in the current climate. When public debate is reduced to slogans and oversimplifications, even children’s skits start to feel uncomfortably close to reality. It says something about the level of discourse we’ve come to accept — and how little respect is shown for the intelligence of the electorate.
