It's all but confirmed that 2027 will be the year of autonomous vehicles in Australia. An update on the NTC's website states: "On 21 November 2025, Transport Ministers agreed to allow the conditional deployment of automated vehicles from 2027 in selected locations, with full national readiness to follow. This timeline will depend on each state and territory updating its legislation and building the necessary capabilities to support safe and lawful operation." While no specifics are given, they seem to be leaving it up to individual states to be ready. While AV trials are welcomed at any time by the Australian Government, this gives the likes of Waymo and Tesla Robotaxi the official green light, at least in some jurisdictions in Australia from 2027. Exciting!

@RobGrieves @TeslaAUNZ @Tesla_AI It’s not FSD, it’s supervised, there are limitations which is why you legally have to take control in situations like this, as you did. So in other words this is an irrelevant post.

@RobGrieves @TeslaAUNZ @Tesla_AI I’ve got video after video of issue after issue. Inconsistent speed holding, veering to left shoulder, phantom breaking. It’s horrible. Either my car needs to be recalibrated or there is something wrong with my experience.

@knyght02 @TeslaAUNZ @Tesla_AI To be fair, v13 is still incredible and most of my drives are disengagement free, but let's not kid ourselves, its not perfect. v14 should be a big impprovement

Tesla's global fleet has just officially crossed 10 billion miles driven on FSD (Supervised)! Tesla owners are collectively driving on average 1,000 miles every 3 seconds on FSD, which is 28.8 million miles per day.

@Robotbeat They could just actually listen to the experiences of EV owners 🤷. Novel concept for some people I know...

This is a common experience. It’s why I advocate for PHEVs: normies have nothing to lose by picking them and realize just how little they actually need gasoline. It’s the best ad for full long range BEV but answers every objection (& misconception) normies might raise.

I bought a plug-in hybrid but even with its very limited all-electric range and just plugging into a conventional outlet for charging, we use so little gasoline that the car keeps giving us warnings about it going stale.

I still haven't solved the CO2 bedroom challenge You open the window and you wake up from a 6am garbage truck or barking dogs and sunlight You close it, you suffocate in 1200 ppl at 5am I guess you really need some mini tube in your wall with a vent that opens and closed based on internal CO2 but how do I build that?

Oh no... Tried doing a full power cycle. No solar production. 😔 Looks like a solar inverter fault. Have logged a ticket with my installers.
