This run to the Sweet 16 was the defining moment of Nebraska sports fandom for a ton of people.
Especially for those of us in our mid-to-late 20s and younger, who’ve been told our whole lives about ghosts and ancient history like it’s gospel.

It’s so painful to watch @LodgePokerATX staff released indefinitely. So many grieving what was a family run business in an old Blockbuster that bloomed into the biggest club in Texas.
My husband @wacoscrub organized a fundraiser for displaced Lodge employees if you’d like to show the staff financial support. @JayVNguyen & @ScruFFuR have made pledges.
There is also a Facebook group for gig work. And Lodge member @CoreySegall wrote an Workforce Transition plan. Links below 🔗⬇️

The Lodge poker club was recently raided, leading to the sudden closure and job losses for many dedicated staff members who’ve been part of the community for years. Families are now facing immediate financial struggles to cover rent, bills, and daily expenses. I donated to this fundraiser because the cause really matters to me. You can legally bet the over/under of the national anthem in 40 states, but poker is taking a step backwards.
