Hi Folks: One month after hiring me, CDFW decided to cut CA's human-wildlife conflict program for the next fiscal year, to the immense detriment of myself, many staff, & Californians. By accepting this job, I had declined other offers. I am now seeking alternatives. Thank you💙

Just a reminder that not telling people who interviewed for your job that they didn't get it is a shitty thing to do. Open communication is essential and ghosting applicants that made the shortlist is rude. We're used to rejection in academia, and a "no" is better than nothing.
