@ScouterVee @tsunamods @ZleepyZed Creep is a valid translation of chikan. The translation uses lines that fit the current professional and official translation of the dialogue shared with the remakes. If you want the translation to keep retard, maybe you could make a retarded edition.

No. Chikan means a man that gropes women on the train. Woman can be creeps. Here is a free Japanese lesson for you since you don't speak Japanese but want to try to flex on me, there is a word we use for women that grope men on trains. They are called say "Chijou". You are the one that posted this on your channel misleading people. This is NOT a "proper" translation. It has uneeded dialogue and censorship that people will think and already think is 100% correct. ON TOP OF THAT, I reached out 1 year ago to help with the translation, which I know they saw because they would get a notification that I left this comment given my sub count. Instead of taking me up on that offer, they chose to block me on here because they are a bunch of libtards captured by their weirdo ideologies. Look, I don't have as much time as I did when I offerened to help then but IF you give me the Script they made AND the Japanese script, I will go through everything to make sure it is as faithful to the original Japanese version, remove any censorship they added and the lines they added to it from Remake/Rebirth as for free as long as I am credited as a translator on the project.

@ScouterVee @ShinraArch This just in! Tuesday afternoon keyboard warrior hates on a free mod he can just not play because It uses lines from the "censored Remake". Not realizing the original was also censored, rendering his point moot. (I do agree with "moron" though. Not sure why they changed that)

If you're looking for a proper translation of Final Fantasy VII, The mod from @ShinraArch and @tsunamods is NOT it. They added dialogue from Remake/Rebirth which was not needed at all and toned down or refused to translate some dialogue that would be offensive to women. I looked into who did the translation and the two guys that did moved from X to Bluecry (lul) which would explain why they could not translate the game correctly without making changes for the "modern audience".

@icicledisaster @ShinraArch @tsunamods Sadly, their mod is the closest you can get right now. I think they want to rewrite the dialogue so remake/rebirth are not so cringe.

The people that want to use this mod want a correct translation from the Japanese version. Why the hell would you take dialogue from the heavily censored and cringe Rebirth/Remake versions? You guys removed the word ”retard" because it was mistranslated but kept "Chikan" (men that grope women) as "creeps". I wonder why that is?

@ZleepyZed @FJubilance @ScouterVee We're talking less than 0.5% of the total dialog where this is applied for continuity/parity. The description does stand. We just happen to be looking at an example that happens very early in the game

Hamaguchi comments on whether Chocobo breeding will be in the 3rd installment of FFVII Remake: "I can’t say yay or nay on the actual breeding. But there is an element in the third installment involving Chocobos that is a little different than Rebirth." Translation: We removed it because we want to avoid using "gendered language" such as Male and Female.

I can confirm that SquareEnix did NOT censor this poetic line in the new steam version of FFVII.

Fun Fact: In the original Final Fantasy VII, the people of Cosmo Canyon were a race of people inspired by Native Americans. In Rebirth, this was changed because SquareEnix now has diversity quotas to meet which to them is more important than the core material.

Fun Fact: In Final Fantasy VII Rebirth they censored scenes that showed Sephiroth slashing/stabbing Aerith and Tifa because they think it's not appropriate to show violence against women. They then went out of their way to add scenes that weren't in the original game where Sephiroth stabs Barret and Tseng letting the fans know that it was MORE important not to offend anybody instead of respecting the original material.
