A cousin of mine who was part of the POSH committee of her bank was SHOCKED at how such a big IT company belonging to a very reputed business group didn’t even have a functional POSH committee that’s COMPULSORY to complain about S£XUAL harassment ? For the FIRST time perhaps, the HR of a company has been also included in the FIR of this corporate G!HAD case in Nashik When the victims complained to HR, they said these things are common in MNCs & NEVER acted as per POSH Act Sadly in many companies, HR is there just to cover the mistakes of top management & protect the company from law suits of junior employees Once a relative of mine was orally instructed by his boss to download some files & later, when there was a controversy, HR wanted to throw the junior employee under the bus asking him to sign a document that if any issue arises with the client, he will be responsible Companies truly need to make HR fair & responsive instead of just puppets protecting top management & then the company faces this HUGE scandal that totally damages its reputation Reputations take years to build & such incidents destroy them in minutes Would request govt to have some surprise checks & some system to know whether companies have the MANDATORY POSH committees or NOT 🙏

Jaswant Singh, George Fernandes, Advani, Vajpayee himself, Suresh Prabhu, and Sushma Swaraj exemplified leaders with stature and approachability. The only two figures from his cabinet who exuded arrogance were Yashwant Sinha and Arun Jaitley.
In contrast, the current government is dominated by ministers whose arrogance is unmistakable. Not a single individual appears polite, approachable, or genuinely large-hearted—qualities that endear them to the public. This government holds power not because of widespread popularity, but because the opposition is disliked even more than they are. If the BJP decided today to replace Modi with another leader, there would be scarcely a ripple of discontent among party supporters. The common people, who care and understand, are thoroughly fed up with the arrogance, aloofness, and condescension displayed by the current regime.
