And honestly, if Arsenal win the league at this point, it won’t feel like they were the best team, it’ll feel like the rest of the league has just been awful. Too many teams dropping standards, too many favors, too much luck falling their way, Credit to Arsenal for taking advantage, but let’s not act like luck hasn’t played a huge part too.
if they actually go on to win it I will say it straight to their faces: it is not going to be because they are the best team in England. No chance. If Martin Ødegaard and Saka lift that trophy in May, they don't need to tell us how brilliant they are. They need to look up to the sky, thank the football gods for their unbelievable luck, and send a thank-you card to the rest of the league for being so incredibly poor”
