Anyone stupid enough to say this should—for a variety of reasons—not have a future in politics.
1) There are only ~53 million immigrants in the US and ~10-14 million of them are undocumented
2) Deporting 100 million people or even just all immigrants would collapse the economy

I have something political to say to my fellow LDS. It should not have been a surprise to anyone that an Apostle spoke at Harry Reid’s funeral. It won’t be a surprise if an Apostle speaks at Mitt Romney’s funeral. But it will be a surprise if one speaks at Mike Lee’s funeral.

Democrats should introduce a bill that requires the federal government to provide every citizen a photo ID for free every 5 years.
If Republicans truly want to enact voter ID laws, they will support this.

First: there are no "Mormon-run" areas of Utah unless you count Church on Sunday.
Second: this is laughable if you have actually been to Salt Lake City which is genuinely one of the nicest major cities in the country. SLCs rough areas are almost quaint.

Mormons have told me that Salt Lake City has degraded so badly that when foreign LDS members come in, the elders and etc try to keep them away from non-Mormon run areas. That's disgraceful. Take your state back. No more of this fake nice stuff.

As Austin shows, land use laws, not "immigrants" are holding cities back.
Immigration actually helps us build. Labor supply is an important input for any economy.
We literally can build our way out of it

Austin saw the largest percentage increase in the country at the same time it saw a significant DECREASE in rent costs.
The answer to everything is simple:
Just build.
Get rid of the unnecessary laws restricting land use and let the free market solve your problem.

That's something that's been supported in the DC Circuit Court by then-Judge Kavanaugh and other conservatives.

We Latter-day Saints are very much Reagan-style conservatives, so our attachment to the Republican Party has understandably tempered at the same rate the Republican Party has slowly abandoned conservatism and replaced it with populism, which looks an awful lot like the kind of political phenomenon that drove us out of Ohio, out Missouri, and out of Illinois in our early history.

@SenatorsOnICE I agree, our elections are secure. There is no meaningful amount of voter fraud.
But since there continues to be fear mongering about fraud and there is large support for voter ID, citizens should be able to get a free ID.
