@Villgecrazylady @barrymycacner Google appears to be doing similar, just indirectly. Click on israel and notice how it doesn't have a defined border. Seems they've done this for Iran and Syria as well. Other countries are clearly defined per usual with the red border

I literally had to go see this for myself. Sure enough. Apple Maps has removed almost every town in Lebanon from the map while keeping every podunk town in Israel and Syria clearly marked.
