This is fucking outrageous! The Michigan Bureau of Elections just dropped a bombshell letter on Antrim County Clerk Victoria Bishop, exposing what looks like a blatant abuse of power. This far-right MAGA Republican clerk, elected on a loud "restore election integrity" platform and tied to the crowd still screaming that 2020 was stolen, allegedly went rogue and started canceling or messing with voter registrations she had zero legal right to touch. She reportedly sent out cancellation notices to people who simply didn't vote in the last two big elections — something Michigan law explicitly forbids — and then changed their status in the state's Qualified Voter File to "Cancel" or "Reject" without any verification or proper authority. Unbelievable. A clerk sworn to protect elections is now accused of playing games with people's fundamental right to vote, all while hiding behind "cleaning up the rolls."
This is the same Antrim County that became ground zero for wild 2020 voting machine conspiracy theories, and now the new clerk is making it a circus again. The state is demanding answers because Bishop didn't even bother to independently check the info before stripping voters of their registrations. It's infuriating — a partisan operative allegedly suppressing votes under the guise of "integrity," exactly the kind of overreach that erodes trust in the system. If true, this isn't election cleanup; it's election tampering with a side of hypocrisy. Michigan voters deserve better than this reckless bullshit. What a disgrace.

This is loathsome: The Trump admin's 2027 budget would slash the fruit-and-vegetable portion of the nutrition program for Women, Infants, & Children (WIC) by as MUCH AS 75%.
So that would mean $52 down to $13 for fully or mostly breastfeeding participants, and $26 down to $10 for young children.
The Epstein class wants to balance our budget on the backs of poor American mothers and young American children, just to fund their wars.
How can ANYONE support this?
Proposing a budget with cuts like this would strip away access to fresh food for US families during CRITICAL STAGES of child development.
This is proof that they despise us.

The U.S. Senate just voted to pollute one of Minnesota’s most beloved places: the Boundary Waters.
Let’s be clear why: more money for billionaires.
Twin Metals and its parent companies are mega-corporations owned by a billionaire family based in Chile. They have a long track record of pollution and environmental devastation, and despite their assurances that this mining is “safe,” decades of research show otherwise.
Twin Metals would bring fewer than 750 jobs to the region, with most of its operations being autonomous and remote, but it risks thousands of jobs in tourism and hospitality. The BWCA is the most visited wilderness in America, attracting almost 150,000 tourists and over $80 million in annual spending to the region.
This won’t bring long-term prosperity. It will cost us millions in healthcare and environmental cleanup.
Mining can be done right, only in the right places. This is the wrong type of mine, in the wrong place.
All watersheds are connected. What happens in one place harms another, and pollution near the BWCA will migrate into the BWCA and the surrounding watershed.
Republicans are in the pockets of big corporations that want to threaten our Minnesota heritage and one of the most pristine environments in the nation.
We must take back the U.S. House and overturn this reckless policy.
