With new votes joining the tally, we are on a strong path. But even while we wait for more, let’s celebrate the extraordinary organizers, volunteers, canvassers & tireless groups that haven’t stopped going since Nov. Across our state, we roared. A few miles to go...but well done!

It’s reported that Stacey Abrams worked relentlessly to register over 800,000 new voters across Georgia who were affected by voter suppression in time for the U.S elections. That is some impact 👏🏾🇺🇸

We have lost a giant in the history of our nation with the passing of Ruth Bader Ginsburg. It is heartbreaking that in her final moments she was, as are many others, preoccupied with what would happen after her passing. I want to make one thing clear: we can, and must, fight.
NPR Politics@nprpolitics

Just days before her death, as her strength waned, Ginsburg dictated this statement to her granddaughter Clara Spera: "My most fervent wish is that i I will not be replaced until a new president is installed." trib.al/2q7vg0g

Tomorrow at 12:30pm (NYC)/18:30 (Pavia), the linguist, novelist, and altogether fun guy @andreamoro_ and I are going to discuss & debate brain & language issues (youtube live). 'epic battle' may be a bit optimistic, but we will do our best to keep blood pressure high.

I have a new paper out w/ @JMGrohNeuro and John Pearson! We compared the way humans and monkeys use vision and hearing together to locate targets. Our modeling results show that both species use causal inference to either combine or separate the two senses journals.physiology.org/doi/abs/10.115…

We’re excited to share our latest paper on a topic that’s a bit different from our normal focus on speech, but is incredibly important to us. Neurophysiology of sign language production now available in @CurrentBiology [cell.com/current-biolog…] 1/10

As a bright bright eyed batch of graduate students are set to start, here are the top 11 pieces of advice NO ONE gave me when i started grad school that I wished they did: 1. ASK LOTS OF QUESTIONS. No one will think any less of you, I've never regretted asking too many questions.

There are at least 4 possible reasons why some people with COVID have little or no symptoms. 1) A rapid immune response that conquers the virus 2) Pre-existing cross reactive immunity 3) Genetic factors 4) Low viral load at time of infection We have emerging data for each. 👇
