MTA says they rebooted the server successfully, signals are back up. Outage lasted from 5:50 to 7:16 No info yet as to whether this was heat related

@CoreyinNYC @danrivoli Thank you to those passengers tweeting updates and to @Danrivoli for reposting so I can have some idea what's going on. @NYCTSubway is barely even acknowledging that there are passengers stuck on trains.

@NYCTSubway You're only reporting on lines that are suspended - what about all the commuters who are stuck, without cell service and A/C can you please update us on our loved ones and what the status is on getting people off of these trains?

Update: Subway service remains suspended on the 1/2/3, 4/5/6, and 42 St Shuttle trains. We are working as fast as possible to resolve an issue affecting the computer system that controls our signaling system. We recommend the lettered lines or local bus service. (1/4)

@danrivoli is there anyone reporting on the 4,5,6 lines and how long some of the passengers stuck there might have to wait to be let off somewhere? Can't reach my husband and would love some info on how long he's going to be stuck! He should have been home well over 30mins ago.
