Well done Fitz! A fantastic performance. Been clearly trending towards a win but I guess I like many thought he would be jaded after last week. Another frustrating week for us with Spieth frittering plenty of shots & the rest of the team struggling. Onwards we go.

Don’t you just love the Copperhead course. Arguably one of the best tracks they play each yr. If Rolapp ditches this off the schedule because it’s not in a big enough ‘metropolis’ for him I will be mightily pissed off.

Bit of a damp squib for us at Valspar so far with only Spieth & Ryo thru to weekend. No idea how Spieth is where he is on the leaderboard as he’s been all over the reservation. From a positive then if he can somehow keep it in play over the weekend he may yet get in the mix! 🤞

Earlier on 3, Radar says Thorbjornsen can’t get there with wedge so it’s a bit off a 9. Caption from US coverage comes up: it’s wedge, and he went long with it too. They just don’t have the same access and info as the US coverage and it’s all a bit guessy at times.

I’m going to nerve-tweet the way home, sorry, but Sky lacking again vs what we could have. We all heard Fitz say he’s just hitting like a long chip and run, while Radar is guessing from miles away and then they suggest he didn’t catch it, when he hit exactly the shot he planned.

@Chrisforgione13 Totally infuriating. I get weather can be dangerous here so by all means stick a strap line warning on to stay indoors etc but to interrupt coverage of a huge event that NBC have paid mega $ to cover so a guy can prattle on for 20 mins+ about weather patterns is nonsense.

US readers am genuinely curious about this. I’m watching NBC Players coverage today & right @ closing stages of event they interrupt coverage for weather updates re storms in Florida area. Is this a normal thing across US for network coverage to be hijacked by local weather!?
