Are we tired of calling for justice for Ochanya?
This is what we Nigerian youths lack: continuity, unity, and courage.
Our leaders have seen this, so they always give us temporary solutions because they know we will forget about it when another matter arises (distraction).
Look at the BRT matter: it has died down and people are still struggling to enter BRT buses while the BRT lady has been taking Uber to work because some people paid for a year of free service for her.
We sought justice in 2018 for Ochanya and left it halfway.
We sought justice in 2025 for Ochanya and left it halfway.
A few days ago we were all shouting for justice for Ochanya because Winifred tweeted and that aggravated our hatred for their family.
Does that mean if Winifred didn’t tweet we wouldn’t seek justice?
Does that mean everything will die down like that?
Everyone has touched grass now.
Anyway, I hope the family of Ochanya will accept that there is no justice in this country. If you die in this God-forsaken country, then you are gone and forgotten. Even our president said “There is nothing he can offer them, not even millions, but he will console them and assure them that the experience will not repeat itself.”

A locum Periop Nurse who is also an ADNS in a govt hospital came to work in my facility (private) as the guest surgeon prefers her to scrub for him, so I was the circulating Nurse for the procedure.

When I knew I was making progress?
June 2025, I couldn’t buckle my flight seat without an extender(was embarrassing asf) and it was a long ass flight.
March 2026, I flew to Owerri and I buckled my seatbelt easily without an extender or bothering any of the air hostesses 😅
I didn’t realize how much of a difference that little thing made till it happened and I gave myself an inner hug.
I’ve been occasionally catching myself giving words of affirmation to me. People were unkind to me so much last year. People hurt me, betrayed me, cheated me, said nasty things to me… but I think I was the most unkind to myself.
So, lately I catch myself saying “I love you so much, Ada. I’m gonna take care of you. You’re so beautiful and you deserve nothing but the best…” and for the first time in a long time… I really do mean it.
Shit I’m tearing up, okay I’ll shut up now… Byee
