The Hook
The hook is the hardest part of the VSL.
Everything after it gets easier.
And here's what most people miss: write 3-4 hook versions while you're already in the zone. Not later. Now.
You'll need them for A/B testing anyway. And the difference between a weak hook and a strong one isn't 10% better performance. It can be 2-3x.
Test one version for at least 30 days before you switch. 7 days tells you nothing.
Hook formats that work:
- Comparison: "X vs Y and why most people choose wrong."
- Future pacing: drop them into the outcome before you explain anything
- Authority up front: establish why they should listen before you say anything important
The hook can borrow any section of the VSL and pull it to the front. Whatever creates the most tension fastest, that's your hook.

The gap isn't between people who are smart and people who aren't.
It's between people who let AI work for them and people still doing it all by hand.
If you've been meaning to try it, stop researching and just start. Pick one small thing and let it run.

I've updated my multi-year #Bitcoin chart. As you can see, I think that we're still in the same run that started wayback in 2018. Currently in the 5th (and final) wave up.
This chart has a peak of around $175k in Oct 2024 and lines up with the log channel.

Codex Usage Limits was fine for two days, now cooked. Either， /goals is completely broken and drains usage 2-3x faster. Or their caching has destabilised. Im on 20x and it feels like im on 5x
