Comparing it to SUPERMAN’s $125 million opening is unfair. But opening near THE FLASH territory would still be a terrible headline for the second movie in James Gunn’s DCU. Warner Bros. has confidence in SUPERGIRL. The problem is confidence does not matter if nobody shows up opening weekend.
