At some point the party will be over, you will no longer be one of the desired ones in the room, and the realisation will kick in that it’s all on you now. Being gay and old can become quite isolating. As unsexy as it is, start putting a little bit of money away, invest, have a plan for the future. Cause you’re going to hit 60+, your friends will fade, you’ll no longer be sexually desired, your family will get old and some die out before you , and it will be up to what you’ve set up for yourself in your earlier years that will determine if you struggle or will be comfortable and stress free.
