It happened once, in Chile in 1988, but I wouldn't count on other dictators voluntarily giving up power when the people want them to. Details: Chilean voters decided to end the military dictatorship of Augusto Pinochet in a historic 1988 plebiscite, where 56% voted "No" to extending his rule, enabling a peaceful transition to democracy. BTW, there's a movie about this called "No" from 2012 starring Gael Garcia Bernal.

Lysander Spooner was right. There's NO chance to "vote your way out" from tyranny. "The right of suffrage, therefore, and even a change of legislators, guarantees no change of legislation—certainly no change for the better. Even if a change for the better actually comes, it comes too late, because it comes only after more or less injustice has been irreparably done."

Tucker likes to have friendly conversations with bad people. When he realizes that he’s talking to Iranian intelligence officials that we already collect on, he pretends to be a victim of “spying.” He’s an idiot, and he thinks you’re an idiot too. You always need a warrant to “wire tap” any American citizen. Full stop. But if you’re communicating with a criminal and that criminal’s phone is tapped (because a judge authorized it), then your conversation is now part of that investigation. If the police also want to tap *your* phone, they would need a warrant. FISA is no different. Tucker knows all this but his favorite grift is to play the victim. I’m surprised he hasn’t blamed the Jews yet. Give it time.

@TenthAmendment When you allow them to take away your Rights. It is really that simple. My Rights do not come from the Government, they are innate. I was born with them, and I will exercise them as I please. The "Government" is there to protect them, not give them to me. Just sayin'... 🤬

Where the hell does government get a right to tell anyone what kind of arms they can have for their defense?

@GuyStorz @TxJollyRoger @dlbohin Way to be an anti-American piece of shit. VILE. That's how Thomas Paine described government by precedent. violations of the Constitution in the past do not make them suddenly "constitutional" today. Self-deport back to England where you belong, redcoat.

❗IN ANY CASE - means - IN ANY CASE. There is no situation ever - where this decision is up to the president.

Your rights don’t come from documents - not a constitution, not even a bill of rights. youtube.com/watch?v=5AliJB… “They are not annexed to us by parchments and seals. They are created in us by the decrees of Providence, which establish the laws of our nature.” -John Dickinson

@CeranMathis you really should not just make shit up - and instead read what they wrote - Jefferson himself gave a reading list to understand the principles of the Declaration of Independence, and it's obvious you're not even aware of it.

@CeranMathis no. It's not a right for a people in one country to overthrow the government of another. no one in the revolution thought that. This is utter bullshit.

Dear MAGA, In case you haven't read the Declaration of Independence - The right and duty of the people to "alter or abolish" government isn't about a FOREIGN government. It's about your own.

Yes, waging a war, without declaring it - is a serious violation of the Constitution. Waging war - without approval from congress, as the founders all understood - was declaring it in action without following the requirement that it be declared as the Constitution spells out in Article I, Section 8, Clause 11. Your argument is no different than "They've been passing common sense gun regulations since the 1934 NFA" IOW: utter trash.
TXJollyRoger☠️@TxJollyRoger

@TenthAmendment @dlbohin Declaring war is not the same as waging war. Vietnam was never declared. Iraq and Afghanistan were never declared. The last declared war in the US was WW2.

how you the the audacity to call yourself "constitutional" anything is absolutely shameful. You haven't read a single thing from the founders - who explained in word and action - over and over and over - what these terms meant, and how they are to be implemented. Nothing. At all. And it's obvious. Self-deport to England, redcoat.

Political parties are an attack vector for “foreign influence and corruption.” George Washington warned us. We didn’t listen. "Thus the policy and the will of one country are subjected to the policy and will of another."

@TenthAmendment While I totally agree w/you about the Founders & the authority to commit the nation to war, I have to question your labeling a group that opposes 100% of what the left supports as "leftists".

there is not a single person from the founding era, federalist or anti-federalist, who anyone can cite who said the president can unilaterally decide the question of peace or war. It’s literally made up out of thin air, “living, breathing” constitutionalism. Basically, FDR and Woodrow Wilson on steroids. And James Madison hammered the founders' view home when he said that the president does not have the power to determine whether a war ought to be "commenced, continued, or concluded" this is why we call Trump, Levin, Graham, Cruz and the rest, a Trojan horse. Leftists who just pretend to oppose the left.

@TheCalmClam10 James Madison put it like this "a refusal to cooperate with officers of the Union" Others recommended stronger responses. But truly - every situation, every issue - is fluid and requires coordination and strong principles amongst the people.

@TenthAmendment And what does this resistance look like. How can we change things. Congress appears limited on their ability. What can we do in a peaceful and reasonable way to bring focus back to our basic rights and to live in peace amongst each other?

🇺🇸 An Unconstitutional "law" is no law at all. youtube.com/live/kPjGH1AFT… This was the foundation of the American Revolution. When government exercises arbitrary power - power not authorized - The people SHOULD resist it. “By the principles of the American revolution, arbitrary power may and ought to be resisted.” - Luther Martin
