Love the analogy. The one upgrade I'd add: instead of filling the tank at a flat rate "regardless of price," scale the pour to the dip — pour more when it's gushing cheap, less when it's expensive. Same discipline, but the cost basis ends up meaningfully lower. Works the same on AI/semis as it does on BTC.

If I gave you $1,000 today to buy Bitcoin, would you invest it all at once or spread it out over time? Most people want to own Bitcoin. Few people know how to buy it without stressing over price. That's where Dollar Cost Averaging (DCA) comes in. DCA simply means investing a fixed amount of money at regular intervals, regardless of whether the market is up or down. For example: Imagine you decide to buy $20 worth of BTC every week. Week 1: BTC = $100,000 → You get 0.0002 BTC Week 2: BTC drops to $80,000 → Your same $20 buys more BTC Week 3: BTC rises to $120,000 → Your $20 buys less BTC Instead of trying to predict the perfect entry, you're consistently accumulating Bitcoin over time. Think of it like filling a water tank. You don't wait for the "perfect" day to add water. You keep adding little by little until the tank is full. The same principle applies to Bitcoin. DCA removes emotions, reduces the risk of buying everything at the top, and helps you build a position steadily. Will it make you rich overnight?
