Caribbean Airlines has lost TT$1.7B (US$235M) on Air Jamaica since its acquisition in 2011. Many #Jamaicans were unhappy when Bruce Golding’s Administration sold it to save Jamaica’s taxpayers, after decades and billions of losses. Many Trinis were unhappy then that their government paid too much, even unhappier now. #Jamaica #Caribbean

Wow. (7% uplift is extreme). And wages has remained low. Expect high inflation and the possibility of food bank drives around the UK. Recommendation: Grow potatoes on your small or large balconies. On a positive note: all this pain and tribulation will be happening not in winter.
