I can't see this happening. Almost certainly just being said in hope to try and restore confidence. It's already a bad look for any European leader to follow Trump's whims after the Greenland fiasco and similar ordeals, but it would be an absolute political nightmare to join in a conflict this unpopular, one which obviously violates every international norm they profess to believe in. There is obviously no plan for how this would work anyway, and no way to adequately deal with the threat of Iranian drone/missile attacks from land. The likely casulaties would finish any government responsible. Who does that leave, Russia or China? Good luck with that.
