January on The Root Network 🧵 This month was about one thing: restoring + upgrading core infrastructure. We shipped major reliability upgrades across the stack - including bridge continuity + expansion, and block explorer stability on upgraded infrastructure. These aren’t “nice-to-haves.” They’re the foundations users and builders rely on every day. And we’re not done. More upgrades are already landing, with additional pieces moving from “in progress” to “live” week by week. 2026 is off to a strong start. Now it’s time to build on top of it. ⚡️ #BuiltOnRoot

As told, the Bridge expansion is live! The TRN ↔ Ethereum bridge now supports $ETH, $USDC, and $SYLO (in addition to $ROOT). More assets coming.💪

We’ve heard you😅 The TRN ↔ Ethereum bridge is back - and yes, it’s ROOT-only for now. That was intentional: we prioritized restoring the #1 pain point (reliable bridging between native and ERC $ROOT) as fast as possible, with a major infra migration behind the scenes. More tokens are already in the works — we’ll share the next update soon. 👀

What has changed for users? It now generates withdrawal proofs using our upgraded bridge infrastructure "Bifrost" - a dedicated stack running the bridge indexers, relayers, and a REST API that the Tradeverse frontend consumes. ⭐️Result: bridging continues reliably for Tradeverse + the broader TRN ecosystem.

The new TRN ↔ Ethereum bridge is now powered by our upgraded bridge infra stack called "Bifrost" - relayer + indexing + proof API. Root Network Update Following up on our previous announcement: The @rootscan_io team has transferred the rootscan.io domain to Gen3 Labs, and Rootscan is now running on Gen3’s infrastructure and deployment. Users accessing rootscan.io are being served by the Gen3-maintained explorer, ensuring uninterrupted access to Root Network data as Rootscan sunsets. No action is required from users. The direct endpoint remains available at: 👉 rootscan.gen3labs.tech Thank you to the Rootscan team for their cooperation and support throughout this transition. @TRNLabs and @Gen3Labs will continue maintaining this infrastructure and sharing updates as needed.

As part of this process, @Rootscan_io is officially sunsetting and will be shutting down. While rootscan.io is currently still online and functioning at the time of this post, its availability is limited and it may go offline at any moment. To ensure uninterrupted access to critical TRN data, @Gen3Labs has deployed a fully functional explorer: 👉rootscan.gen3labs.tech This Rootscan alternative allows users, builders, and partners to continue tracking transactions, blocks, and on-chain activity directly on The Root Network as Rootscan winds down. We want to be clear: - Rootscan.io is still live at the time of this post - Rootscan is sunsetting and will be shutting down - This transition ensures continuity, stability, and transparency for the ecosystem @TRNLabs and @Gen3Labs are actively running and maintaining critical TRN infrastructure, and this explorer is part of our commitment to keeping essential systems online and accessible for the community during this transition.
