i've been in the trading space long enough to understand that anyone can blow up their account over a single careless mistake.
mastering emotional control is a battle most people eventually lose when they encounter pressure/market conditions stronger than their discipline.
Even the Bible says God will not allow us to be tempted beyond what we can bear.
This implies there are limits to how far anyone can rise before stronger temptations or greater levels of responsibility expose their lack of discipline.
what I am trying to say is that, some one who blew a $1k account doesn't mean they're not profitable

Save your money, King… no one can. I tweeted something similar yesterday. I actually funded someone who claimed to understand trading and had years of experience. He blew the account. A “supposed” big trader. That’s when I realised most of this space is just noise. I even told her straight, come pay for mentorship and stop deceiving gullible people.
