I coached @HokiesMBB in @theACC for 8 years. 5 of those years we earned the bye in the ACC tournament by finishing 4th 3 times and 3rd twice. Now think about that and we received only 1 bid. One of those was the 1st year in the league when people thought we’d get crushed

@GenoBonnalie I found a perfect stick recently, as an adult. I brought it home and leaned it up against my wood pile by the firepit. One day i found one of my son’s buddies holding in the fire to burn the tip off. How could he not realize how perfect that stick was??

One day in 3rd grade I was walking to school and I found the perfect stick. It was straight, aprox 35" in length, perfect diameter for swinging/hitting things, and the bark was left on only one end of it making a perfect grip. I knew I couldn't take the stick to school so I hid it near a fence in some tall grass. I went home a different way that day only to return the following Monday to get the stick...it was gone. It's been 30 years and I still think about that stick.
