Only one chance in this lifetime… Like watching sunset at the beach from the most foreign seat in the cosmos, I couldn’t resist a cell phone video of Earthset. You can hear the shutter on the Nikon as @Astro_Christina is hammering away on 3-shot brackets and capturing those exceptional Earthset photos through the 400mm lens. @AstroVicGlover was in window 3 watching with @Astro_Jeremy next to him. I could barely see the Moon through the docking hatch window but the iPhone was the perfect size to catch the view…this is uncropped, uncut with 8x zoom which is quite comparable to the view of the human eye. Enjoy.

Every time I look up at the Moon now, even the one at Space Center Houston, it feels different. It’s no longer just a distant light in the night sky — it’s a place I’ve studied up close with my own eyes. I find myself tracing its features, recognizing the shadows, the craters, the quiet stories written across its surface. The Moon hasn’t changed, but now when I observe it, it comes back to life in my mind with a new and treasured perspective.

With Artemis II safely back on Earth, NASA has begun shipping the core stage for the Artemis III rocket to @NASAKennedy. Artemis III will test rendezvous and docking capabilities needed to land Artemis IV astronauts on the Moon in 2028. go.nasa.gov/4e0uXkj

The Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope is in final preparations for an early September launch, eight months AHEAD of schedule and UNDER budget. This milestone is the result of more than a decade of dedication and millions of hours of work by NASA and our industry partners. Their commitment is what’s making this moment possible and helping drive Gold Standard Science. Roman will help answer some of the biggest questions in science, investigating dark matter, dark energy, and the structure of the universe. Its images will be so large and detailed, there isn’t a screen in existence big enough to display them. This is just the beginning.

The next delivery of NASA science and equipment to the @Space_Station is set for no earlier than May 12. In addition to experiments, these resupply missions also bring supplies that allow the crew aboard to continue living and working in low Earth orbit: go.nasa.gov/3Qe8wyp

In addition to science, cargo vehicles also may deliver fresh fruit and vegetables to the @Space_Station. This is always a welcome change from our dehydrated and preserved food and is a huge morale boost, bringing smiles all around.
