Taking your project from an indie YouTube series to the big screen is already massive, but keeping original vision and authenticity by writing and directing it yourself almost never happens at this scale. Genuinely an insane achievement. This is the kind of dream many internet creators strive for, and as someone who spent years solo grinding entire projects, seeing that actually materialize for another creator is really inspiring. Hopefully, Backrooms receiving this level of acclaim and commercial success sends a clear message to the industry: creator-led projects can reach incredible results when given the right opportunity and support. Huge respect to Kane, A24, and everyone involved.

@ironcameraman7 Adam goodman is so goddam stubborn and greedy that he and his associates have abused the copyright system multiple times to silence those against him, made creators sign those bad contracts and made it extremely obvious that he doesn't care about what the entire community says.

It’s really sad that Boom ended up with a company that not only fails to provide those kinds of opportunities, but instead, as we Skibidi YouTubers have continuously experienced ourselves, focuses on aggressively suppressing creativity and pressuring the creators into accepting terrible contracts and terrible treatment. And Adam Goodman, being the man-child ego-maniac that he is, completely fails to accept accountability - that all of the fallout is a direct result of his neglect and his actions only. It's not an opinion anymore. It comes from direct experiences continuously dealing with Invisible Narratives as a Skibidi YouTuber, and from seeing countless evidence of how other creators were affected: aggressive copyright actions, pressure through legal channels, channels being put at risk of deletion, and a general fear among fan creators to even make commentary or fan content around Skibidi Toilet. The downfall and death of Skibidi Toilet is no one’s fault but Invisible Narratives’ own. It is entirely the result of their treatment of the creator, fan creators, and the franchise as a whole. If only someone actually responsible took this franchise over, maybe it would've had a similar chance as Backrooms. We will never forget what Boom has created, and how it was destroyed by corporate greed of Invisible Narratives.

I had a private call with Adam Goodman, CEO of Invisible Narratives and the person responsible for controlling everything related to Skibidi Toilet. The mentioned partners were aware of the strict contract dafuqBoom was under and even pushed for harsher terms against him. According to Adam Goodman: Fortnite, Bonkers, Stumble Guys, PUBG and others are just as responsible for the harsh restrictions placed on Dafuqboom as Inviz. These partners were pressuring Inviz to release new Skibidi Toilet episodes faster. As a result, Adam Goodman pressured Dafuqboom, the creator of the series, to work longer hours — to the point where Dafuqboom sometimes did not sleep — in order to work and release episodes faster, and to keep Invisible Narratives satisfied. This could be considered workplace exploitation on Adam Goodman’s part. Dafuqboom worked under constant pressure to meet the expectations of Invisible Narratives, the company that took everything away from Dafuqboom.
