We had @N_O_P_A in church today for their Easter Services which also marked Bridget's last School services before she retires in June. The school surprised Bridget with some beautiful bunches of flowers and Bridget would like to say a huge thank you.

In Breakfast church we looked being prepared and waiting. We thought about all we need to do to get ready for Christmas, and then we thought about the preparations people in the Bible did. We looked at waiting for God and Prayers to be answered @churchofengland @DioceseOfYork

A great evening last night at Bishop Barry's welcome service at All Saints, Northallerton. We are all part of God's puzzle and what a beautiful picture we build together @DioceseOfYork @BpBarryOfWhitby

Bridget, Elaine, Lee-Anne, Marion and Norma were at @York_Minster this morning to see the ordination and consecration of Patricia Hillas, Flora Winfield and @revbarryhill as the New Bishops. Join us in praying for them especially Barry who is to be Bishop of Whitby.

A huge thank you to Princess who used her summer break from University to help in cafe. She learnt to make tea and coffee, make toasties, sserved on the front and also helped tidy everything away. She goes back to Nigeria at the weekend but we hope she knows how grateful we are

Final trip of the summer complete. 6 trips plus 2 open gardens a week 15- 20 families each trip 26-30 adults and 35- 40 children. - what a great summer. And finishing off today with a end of summer party @DioceseOfYork @TogMbroRC @churchofengland

This little helper spent yesterday morning sorting all the lunch bags for out trip for today. He then came in with his mum early today to help put the sandwiches in and hand them out to families what a superstar @N_O_P_A

Yesterday Lee-Anne met with the New Bishop of Whitby and his family. She showed them around the church and introduced them to families in Open Garden

In breakfast church, we thought about going back to school or for some- starting. We wrote the feelings we had about it. We looked at Psalm 139 to remind us that God is with us wherever we go. We prayed a blessing over school and work bags and prayed for children.

What an amazing day. 31 of us have had a fantastic day with Swainby Church making bird feeders, bug hotels,! We've paddled in the stream and had a walk to the old church and Tower. Thank you so much to Lorna and the team. Holy Cross Church, Swainby Whorlton Church, Swainby

Last Friday we took 18 families, totalling 60 people to Saltburn. The weather was great, we got fish and chips and had a game of crazy golf. #holidays #families #fof
