@Veridant The next guy will be better! I will enjoy the next 8 months voting in ways that will make you scream.

Several claims by Dan Osborn are supported by public records and news reports: - Nebraska GOP (run by Ricketts allies in 2020) lost a defamation suit over campaign mailers; jury awarded $500k (not appealed). - Ricketts-funded PACs ran mailers falsely accusing Republican Matt Williams of letting "pedophiles out of prison early" for voting against Ricketts' positions. - Ricketts backed Jim Pillen's gubernatorial run; Pillen then appointed Ricketts to the U.S. Senate. - Ricketts family helped run dark money groups (45Committee, Future45) that spent ~$45M+ in 2016. - 71% of Nebraskans approved medical cannabis in 2024; Ricketts has long opposed it and implementation remains stalled. - Nebraska voters rejected school vouchers in 2024; Ricketts has backed federal school choice measures. The "loyalty oath" and some intimidation claims are more interpretive based on his influence over the legislature via funding and appointments, but no verbatim public demand was found. Overall, much of the record holds up as described.

@KenMWolfgang Bacon is good no matter what. On serious side, I vote our district. Most people think it’s wrong to deport people who are legal, working and paying taxes.

This is @RepDonBacon advocating for EU style replacement theory as a reason to misuse charitable temporary refugee programs to permanently import and resettle low skill immigrant labor class across the country. Exactly what we voted against and what is ruining Europe. Unreal.

@shawnpisteySC @Cernovich @JackPosobiec Yup. I vote my district, and mu Christian and American values.

@ThraceAlex @AlaskaNorseman @OmahaChamber I will vote my Christian and American values. You’ve convinced me now to look at Venezuela and El Salvador TPS. Thanks.

Removing TPS status for Haitians living in the United States would cost 350,000 workers their ability to work at a time when we’re already facing serious workforce shortages. I’ve heard from healthcare providers and business leaders across Nebraska, including @OmahaChamber, who are concerned about the impact this would have on patient care and our economy. I don’t see the goodness of deporting people who are here legally, working, and contributing to our country.
