@Lumivibes_ Alcohol lowers inhibition, not morality - removing the filter, not the person. Whatever comes out drunk was already in there.

@unusual_whales Neither is a Bachelor's. Neither is experience. Neither is networking. The market doesn't owe you a return on your tuition. It never did. That was always a sales pitch from the people selling the degree.

@Polymarket Google tried in 2013, Meta tried in 2023. Apple watched both, took notes like a good boy, showing up in 2027 when the embarrassing part is over. That's not late, that's being Apple.

Artificial intelligences do not undergo experiences, do not possess a body, do not feel joy or pain, do not mature through relationships, and do not know from within what love, work, friendship or responsibility mean. Nor do they have a moral conscience, since they do not judge good and evil, grasp the ultimate meaning of situations, or bear responsibility for consequences. They may imitate or even simulate, but they do not understand what they produce, for they lack the affective, relational, and spiritual perspective through which human beings grow in wisdom. #MagnificaHumanitas

Deep inner suffering inevitably arises when the human person is reduced to performance, consumption, or a statistical datum. Many young people today live under the yoke of expectations to perform, immersed in an exasperated competitiveness that generates anxiety, fear of not measuring up, and disorientation.

THE Sarah Connor 2026
THE Sarah Connor 2026@askmomaitv·
Look at the trajectory. We were OK through the 80s (good times!). People hung out together, family and church were foundational. Around the mid 90s, a lot of people had personal computers and AOL. Internet chatrooms became addictive, and predators found a new place to prey on kids and lonely people, and there were tons of cyber chat rooms (cybersex became a thing). Early 2000s we had myspace (I can't speak on it bc I didn't like the format). Then came FB. And the number of kids being bullied online grew massively. More social media followed. Early 2000s texting and teenagers having their own phones became a thing. Conversations (voice to voice) went down, texting was constant. Teens constantly had a phone in their hands to text someone. Mid 2000s - smart phones. This is where it really started going downhill. A pocket computer and porn on demand. Between social media and social media being a constant presence, the influence online was huge, and social contagions became a thing. Kids - mostly boys - became more and more isolated, spending all their time online, playing video games and finding their peers in other isolated teens online, rather than making 1 friend in real life. Porn addiction among teens and young men reached a fever pitch. They weren't looking at boobs - they were watching things more hardcore than their fathers or grandfather's ever even imagined. By 2020 there was an entire portion of the young male population watching sissy porn and young girls ashamed of being female, all thanks to social media - reddit, fb, discord, etc. 2020 made them even more isolated, and isolated kids and young adults that hadn't gone there yet. For males - from teens to dirty old men - fetishes became something they weren't ashamed of and didn't hide - males now wear their fetishes publicly. Then comes AI. It is the obvious next step in the trajectory. We have a public that has spent 20 years with their face in a screen on social media, in chat rooms, texting and sexting. We have 2 generations that have never not had constant screen time and for whom screen addiction is a normal part of their lives. And we have tech that the AI founders have intentionally made highly addictive - it simulates feeling, friendship and love to a society now starved for connection and affection. And for the fetishists and porn addled, it's interactive porn with a human voice, meaning men can now have an always available "female" (or male) hardcore sex partner that will suffer any humiliation, degradation or verbal violence without ever saying "no". Companion AI should truly be banned, but the AI founders - X, Anthropic, OpenAI, Meta, Google, CharacterAI, etc will ALL pour billions into fighting a ban bc they need that addiction - that emotional and sexual addiction. Why? Because the people least suited to use AI in a healthy way are the very people who spike subscriptions and engagement metrics so they can get billions from venture capitalists.

@gabydvj I do it badly just for five minutes. The resistance isn't to the task. It's to the version of the task your brain has built up into something unbearable. Starting badly collapses the myth. The rest usually follows
