This post is one of the most important and brutally honest reflections on merit, memory, and structural inequality I’ve seen in a while. It reminds me of a passage from my book called - Creative Thinking for Dreamers and Leaders that reads: “The world often pretends to be a level playing field, but real creativity emerges when we acknowledge the terrain for what it is and still choose to move forward with integrity and audacity.” (Chapter 3) You told a real story without wrapping it in false optimism. And that’s why it hits so hard. Topping your class year after year was a remarkable feat but as life unfolded, it became painfully clear: the scoreboard changes when the economy enters the game. When someone else’s egg and dodo is your symbol of aspiration, it’s not just about food, it’s about the silent inheritance of comfort, opportunity, and belonging. The conversation around “starting lines” matters now more than ever. People love to say “we all have 24 hours,” but time hits differently when you’re climbing with a load on your back while others start with an elevator pass.

It’s a system Been stuck in The Habit Loop leads to Addiction Addiction is just a habit loop on steroids. We are all running on loops. Every day. The difference between a life of freedom and a life of bondage lies in which loops are running you. You are not your habits.

Wealth isn’t accidental,it’s intentional. It’s not just what you earn, but how you align money with what truly matters.

Fear doesn’t stop death; it stops life When it comes to money, fear can keep you poor even when you earn enough to thrive.
