One of my mentees hated sales calls. Not because he wasn’t good but because he hated wasting time proving himself. For context, he’s in one of the most competitive niches out there. Told me every call felt like an interrogation. -“Can you show me past work?” -“What’s your process?” -“How do I know you can deliver?” The fix? We built a pre-sale flow that answered all of that before they ever jumped on a call. It shows the journey, the experience, the pricing, the problem and the clarity up front. By the time someone books a call now, they’d already decided they wanted to work with him. Perfect. Now his calls feel more like onboarding than pitching. He knows they’re going to pay. He knows roughly how much. And he’s not justifying his existence for 30 minutes. If you fix what happens before the call, the call becomes easy.

The difference between a $1k client and a $5k client usually isn't budget. It's education. They say $1k because that's what they think the solution costs. Your job is to show them what the actual problem costs. When the problem is $20k, the $4k solution feels cheap.

I dated a guy in the university and man was always complaining about how I just buy myself things without including him in my plans. Oga got a woman pregnant and married her as his second wife, but rented her own place for her. All these happened and the first wife didn't fight him for it. She faced her children.
