There used to be so much dating and pick-up artist trash on the timeline. I would make fun of it and tell dudes to ignore it. It has completely disappeared now though. And now i'm convinced dudes have just completely given up lmao.

@CTS1630 @RepLuna Thats fair, I'm just pissed off. If any of our service members want to insider trade moving forward as those above do, get your OPSEC in order, Tails, TOR, Monero, then have it it.

It sucks, but holy crap he should have known better than this. I get the arguments about congress and they suck. I really like Rep. Luna, but she is wrong. I voluntarily gave up a lot of my "rights" when I enlisted. I gave them up when I was commissioned in the Army. I gave them up when I had a clearance in law enforcement. The security of our warfighters is paramount and surpasses the right to be an "inside trader". The idea that Russia or China could track such a thing done by multiple people from the right zip code and tip off our enemies costing lives supersedes any argument for this. FWIW - I wish they would stop a lot of things from congress but the guys in the planning shops at McDill AFB know a lot more than congress does. This administration has been fantastic at holding things close to the vest and this prosecution, sadly, is how you do that.

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna
Maybe not a popular take but I am calling for this guy to be pardoned. Unless the DOJ plans on going after all the crooks in congress currently insider trading, this is simply skewed justice. There is no “justice” when guys like this get the book thrown at him yet members are illegally profiting every day. I don’t agree with what he did and he should be required to disgorge all the profits however, unless the DOJ plans on doing Congress next, this is not justice.

DOJ releases more information about the U.S. soldier who won more than $400,000 by betting on Maduro's removal. Gannon Ken van Dyke could face up to 60 years in prison on all charges. Prosecutors are also seizing the money he won.

@CTS1630 @RepLuna Yeah I got that, so this operator is the only one using classified information for personal profit? No one else upstream is engaging in that? Seems like hes being railroaded.

Ghislaine Maxwell was convicted sex trafficking of a minor, conspiracy to entice minors to travel for illegal sex acts, conspiracy to transport minors with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity & transportation of a minor with intent to engage in criminal sexual activity 5 years ago and you still haven’t arrested anyone else involved. Taking a victory lap for this shit is pathetic

This involved a U.S. soldier who allegedly took advantage of his position to profit off of a righteous military operation. Thank you to our agents, Intel teams, and great partners @TheJusticeDept who protected our war fighters. Investigation ongoing.

@VGadev If he was the type who would be hostile about it, it'd be easy. He wouldn't though. He'd just be sad and apologetic and it'd make it so much worse.

Have you ever known someone so annoying that you've considered faking your own death to escape them? I call these people punishers. When you're around them or they're talking to you, they're actively punishing you. Usually these people are easy for me to get rid of. I'm not a passive person. I've had to be a jerk about it in the past, but that's because they couldn't take a hint. I'm currently in a unique situation, however. My own personal punisher is a REALLY nice guy. When I say nice, I mean genuinely a great human. My weakness is I can't be mean to nice, well intentioned people. I can't hurt his feelings just because he's annoying. He has to wrong me in some way. His conversations are boring, and not a regular type of boring. He talked to me about bananas for 20 minutes last week. He told me how his mom would make banana bread. How he was telling the story, how his tone was, I was expecting some dramatic plot twist in it. He leads with "you'll never believe what happens" after he said his mom made banana bread because his dad loved it. I was expecting his dad choked to death or something dramatic. No, the story ended with him and his dad finishing the banana bread in a single night. He whistles. I hate whistlers. He will break out into a whistle at random like he's prancing around a Disney enchanted forest. He calls me on the phone. I absolutely loathe phone calls. If you're not about to have emergency surgery where I may never speak to you again, don't call. Text. It's never about anything either. "Hey, I just wanted to see what you were up to." Not to hang out, but to see what I'm doing. Every time I ask how he's doing, he always has cliche office comments. "Living the dream", "Thank God it Friday" "Another day, another nickel" The list is exhaustive. My rant is meaningless. I can't ever have a friendship break up with him. Everything he does in his life is good, I'm scum in comparison. He's too genuine and kind. I don't dislike him, I actually care about him, he just drives me totally insane when interacting with him. He's just my punisher. Forever.
