@VSC @Pixel_Dailies So you're using aseprite. You did it right, the 'resize' drop down menu in the 'export file' dialog do nearest neighbor scaling. I downloaded your image and it is fine, the problem is that you scaled too little (just 200%).

@gnumaru @Pixel_Dailies Okay. It had the option for "export for Twitter" but I'm not thrilled how it came out, I will try this! Thank you!

@VSC @Pixel_Dailies When scaling the image up, use "block scaling" or "nearest neighbor" (the name may vary depending on the software you're using) instead of other options like "bilinear" to get better results.

Stupid yet awesome thing of the day: I made a die rolling app in class and it's now on my phone.

But I shouldn't have to have a monthly budget for software. At least give me an over-priced, one and done option. I'll pay it.

I don't mind paying for software. Good work should be rewarded, and I'm willing to vote with my wallet.

I just want to say I hate Adobe for setting up the standard where you pay monthly or annually for a software subscription instead of just buying the fucking software.

@HaffaAlan @amybarnhorst @Rick3932 Several of my professors at the Junior college level changed my life, including one when I returned to take one random class 20 years after I got my bachelor's. I'm in grad school now because of him.

@amybarnhorst @Rick3932 In grad school I got a paper accepted at a national conference and saw my professor also did. Went to his talk and it was my final essay for his his class. That turned me off to research and I’ve been teaching at community college instead for last twenty years.
