More than 80% of their code is AI generated. Most founders would be opposed to Adam Foroughi's approach to hiring: The AI-powered 10x engineer is not 2x as productive. Their productivity increases 100-fold. Why things are different, though, is because one exceptional person with the right AI tools can be better than 50 average engineers. Compared to 2019, most companies are still hiring. Over personnel, under staffed teams, delayed decisions. @AppLovin did just the opposite. Aimed to reduce staff by 40% as revenue increased by almost 100% YoY. The new playbook is to identify the rare individual who understands how to deploy AI agents and then let them do their work. The companies that get it first will win all.
