@glenngabe Seen really rogue updates in the main SERPs recently that by any measure are contextually less relevant than the orginal title tag & actually make our clients looks spammy. Appears they’re trying to make Organic look less appealing while introducing Ads in the middle of the SERP

Oh boy, but we know Google can change title links in the SERPs already. Remember back in 2021 when they addressed that? Also, Google confirmed this is a test but didn't confirm it was using AI to do this. This might be something many who don't work in the travel sector don't realize: In the last couple of years, the Google Travel Hub under google(.)com/travel/, allowing to search for flights, hotels and even holiday rentals has been growing so much in the US that: * It's now attracting almost the same organic search traffic as Kayak and over players like Skyscanner. (data via Ahrefs). * It's ranking in top positions for queries like "flights", "cheap flights", "plane tickets", among others, attracting top traffic. (data via Similarweb). * Attracted 965.3K organic search clicks with its main flight page (without filters in) in July in the US, ranking for +5K queries, in an average 5.8 position (data via Similarweb).
