@AlternatNews Does "taking it slowly" mean having 500,000+ casualties in just over 2 years and still being only 30km from the Russian border. If Putin is selling that to the Russian people as "progress in the invasion", the Russian people are misled beyond belief!
Putin explains that a large offensive would cost too many casualties and so they are taking it slowly.
There is a million Russian soldiers in reserve. They are not needed until NATO attacks.
Having said that, Macron is going to lose his snap election
@GabeZZOZZ Is that from Russia's history book, or a real world history book. NB.
1. Russia helped the Nazis invade Poland in 1939
2. Russia swapped sides in 1941 because Stalin would get a better deal from the allies
3. Britain fought the Nazis for 2 years before Russia
@aussiecossack What his this to do with you hiding out in the Russian consulate to avoid the Australian justice system. No doubt, you would get a much fairer hearing here than if you were facing the Russian justice system! You really have passed your useby date.
🚨 A second front has been opened in Sumy, and a village has already been liberated in the region.
Sumy and Kharkov are Russian cities!
🇷🇺 Bring them home, Putin!
🇨🇳 China looks like this because they spend their money on infrastructure, not on wars.
The US government would rather waste money on Ukraine than improve the country's crumbling infrastructure.
@GabeZZOZZ Wow, that's great ai/photoshopping. Exactly when & where was that taken. Unfortunately (if true) there are loonies in all countries. Difference is in a democracy people can express their misguided views. In Russia, there is only one view allowed!
🇷🇺 Sergey #Lavrov:
☝️The #Russian language’s broad dissemination around the world, as well as our common past and far-reaching economic and people-to-people ties have come together to create a solid foundation for reinforcing integration processes across the #Eurasian space.
🤝I would like to place a special emphasis on the establishment in October 2023 of an International Organisation for the Russian Language, which was proposed by President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. All countries without exception are free to join it.
@ivan_8848 Why would the US even want to have weapons in the Ukraine pointed at Moscow. They would already have the capability to strike Moscow with their existing weapons. If that's the best excuse Putin has for invading the Ukraine, he's more delusional than ever!
American Senator Tommy Tuberville: Putin does not need Ukraine. He doesn't need Europe. Damn it, he already has enough land of his own. He just wants to make sure there are no United States weapons in Ukraine pointed at Moscow.
@aussiecossack Wow, a fighter shooting down a drone! What a magnificent achievement for the Russian people. Almost makes the 500,000+ Russian casualties worthwhile!
@aussiecossack Great idea! Must be costing Putin a fortune keeping the little cossack in the Russian consulate. Certainly looks like he enjoys a few Aussie beers. Maybe he's looking forward to doing some real reporting from the front lines in the Ukraine. No Aussie beer!
@Reuters Wow another "great victory" for Russia! Just over 2 years ago on the outskirts of Kyiv. Today, they've captured a "Ukrainian border village". What a bargain it only cost the Russian people 500,000+ casualties. Putin will be so happy about that!
@RussiaIsntEnemy But there was never a need to invade the Ukraine in the first place, since it was no threat to Russia. Oh yes, that's right, the Ukraine just had a government that Putin didn't approve of! Great story from Putin, but total BS!
☝️ “Imagine we now would be doing in Canada what the US is doing on our doorstep, in Ukraine. Or we would say that the US seized the part of Mexican territory and encourage Mexico to fight for return its territory. Is this smth you wouldn’t like to think about?” - President Putin
@vicktop55 That's a laugh, Medvedev saying that someone else is speaking "outright nonsense". If he's the best that Russia can do as far as its "spokesmen" is concerned, the Russian people should be ashamed. He leaves Trump behind in terms of his unhinged rantings!
@BRICSinfo Wouldn't want to rely too much on Russian currency, it won't be worth having in the near future. Their GDP is higher thanks to making expendable weapons, but their exports are reducing. Putin will need to print more money to prop up the economy!
BREAKING: 🇷🇺 Russian President Putin confirms BRICS is developing its own independent payment system.
"BRICS is working on our own independent payment system, free from political pressure, abuse and external interference."
@narrative_hole Most people seem to conveniently forget that Russia sided with Hitler to invade Poland at the beginning of WW2. Stalin only switched sides because he thought he'd get a better deal from the allies!
