Would like to add a few things here. First. Per the usual, a real impressive showing from the local media here at baseball. A lot of folks like to complain about the university, but rarely show up to events like baseball, soccer, etc. Even on beautiful days, the lack of no shows from the local Memphis media is not in the least bit surprising. Second, we talk about growing the game, well you’ve got a media member here wanting to do whatever he can to do just that. However, things get difficult when you don’t have a spot for him to write a story or two from inside the park. Thankful the radio broadcast booth was empty, but the lack of space is not for an abundance of media here. Just a few random thoughts and I might have more as the day progresses. As a collective unit, we’ve got to do better man at working together with media and athletic departments. We’re all in this together, why not make each others jobs easier?
