NEWS: Memphis has landed a commitment from 24-year old Serbian 6’9” big Nemanja Popovic, per multiple sources. Popovic averaged 14.3 PTS and 6.4 REB for King Szczecin in Poland’s PLK league. One euro scout: “Plays very physical. Talks a lot of shit. Legit grown man pro. He’s solid and likely starts for Memphis, which is great for them this late in the cycle.” Interesting note: Former Memphis C Malcolm Dandridge was teammates with Popovic this past season.

(Not including NIL money, just rev share) He also revealed that beginning next year, the University of Memphis plans to fully maximize its revenue-sharing allocation across the athletic department, reinforcing the university's commitment to competing at the highest level.

2027 6’0” Houston HS (TN) G Justin Frison was impressive for Team Thad during EYBL Session 3. 18.5 PPG | 50% FG | 50% 3PT | 95% FT | 7 AST (2.1 AST:TO) | 2.3 STL Ole Miss, Cincinnati, Creighton and Nebraska are the latest HM schools to get involved with Frison, who just picked up offers from Xavier and West Virginia last week. Would continue to expect more HMs to get involved. His recruitment is exploding as he is having a dominant EYBL season while solidifying himself as Team Thad’s best player. @JustinF_2027

2027 Team Thad 6’0” G Justin Frison out of Houston HS (Memphis, TN) had a dominant EYBL session in Memphis. 15.5 PPG | 9.5 AST | 6.5 REB | 2.9 STL | 52.5% FG | 50% 3PT (10-20) Frison is now hearing from these schools, his agency @SportsNetLLC tells me: Creighton UAB Wichita State West Virginia Xavier Ole Miss Nebraska Murray State Miami Ohio Belmont I was most impressed with how Frison controlled the game this weekend. Sets up his teammates extremely well (EYBL leader in ASTs) and is pesky on the defensive end (EYBL leader in STLs). Doesn’t matter if he has the ball in his hands or not, Frison is a net positive on the court. Expecting his recruitment to blow up this summer. MM+/HM- schools should be all over him. @JustinF_2027

2028 Bartlett HS 6’0 PG Braylon Williams has looked impressive through two EYBL sessions. 13.4 PPG | 6.3 AST (4.5 AST:TO) | 1.7 STL | #4 in TN class of 2028 per @PrepHoopsTN He tells me has received HM and MM interest during the live period, as well as recent offers from: Memphis, New Mexico State, Texas A&M, ULM, etc. For @AlabamaFusion 16U, Williams does it all. Offensively, he is the primary ball handler that sets up others well (4.5 AST to TO ratio) with flashes of off the dribble shooting and an expanding pull-up game. Defensively, he absolutely gets after it (1.7 STLs per game). Smaller guard, but he’s pesky fighting through screens and jumping passing lanes. I think he’ll make a very good college guard one day. He does everything you want your PG to do, without overstepping his role.

2028 4⭐️ 6’6” SF Joshua Huggins out of Briacrest HS has been the best player on the court for Team Thad 16U. 19 PPG | 6 REB | 3.6 AST Huggins tells me he’s been receiving plenty of HM interest since the live period started and has earned offers from: Memphis Mississippi State Ole Miss Murray State Boston College Tennessee State Alabama A&M Jacksonville Louisiana-Monroe Huggins’ physicality jumps off the film, averaging a ridiculous 7.9 FTA per game (83.6% FT%). Good change-of-pace for his size, and his athleticism pops. Huggins impressed with his playmaking skills for a bigger, score-first wing (3.6 AST per game), making several good reads. His FG% is inefficient through EYBL sessions 1/2 due to his role, but his FT% indicates good touch. It makes sense for Huggins to make the jump to Team Thad 17s, so we’ll see what happens the rest of the EYBL sessions.

NEWS: 2026 6’10” C Kaleb Davis from Houston HS (Memphis, TN) has signed with UAB, his agency @SportsNetLLC tells me. Davis chose UAB over interest and offers from several HM programs. Very good pickup for UAB late in the cycle. Davis’ 7’3” wingspan helps establish himself as an elite rim protector, finishing 2nd in 3SSB last year and 3rd in EYBL so far this year in BLKs.

NEWS: 2026 6’10” C Kaleb Davis from Houston HS (Memphis, TN) has now heard from these programs since Monday, his agency @SportsNetLLC tells me: NC State Villanova Seton Hall Texas A&M UAB UT Arlington In addition to Virginia Tech, Charlotte, La Salle + others 📈 Davis’ 7’3” wingspan + defensive instincts allow for him to be an elite rim protector and make an immediate defensive impact next season (2nd in 3SSB in BLKs). Still raw on the offensive end (impact limited to mainly PNRs), but as an incoming freshman, he has time to make strides in that aspect of his game. Would be a great developmental big for any HM+ programs looking for depth and will make an immediate impact next season for any MMs/LMs still looking for bigs. He will be playing with @TeamThadNation 17Us this weekend in Memphis. Attached is his schedule.

@GoodmanHoops It’s crazy because a lot of coaches have said the same thing to me about you… that college hoops is better without you. Didn’t Kentucky go as far as to ban you when Calipari was there?! Lmao Slick Rick and Calipari send their regards though

LSU coach Will Wade has landed 6-6 wing Saliou Niang, source told @TheFieldOf68. Niang, 22, was drafted by the Cavs with the 58th overall pick in 2025. He signed with Virtus Bologna in Italy this past season. Niang is considered a big-time athlete with an elite motor, terrific rebounder and defender. Solid shooter.
