As students learn about negative and positive space in visual arts, they connect to history about residential school by creating art that tells a story.

Using Community/Cultural Pillars to build empathy + community. Ss use loose parts to share their fears and ways to overcome them. They showed empathy by sharing ideas/tips to over come fears - “you could take pictures with your family to build memories!”
