No, God didn’t “change His mind.” That’s a basic misunderstanding of Christianity. Old Testament laws (like Deut 21) were part of the Old Covenant, civil rules for ancient Israel as a theocratic nation in a savage world. They regulated wartime practices common at the time. Jesus fulfilled the Old Covenant (Matt 5 : 17). The New Covenant is grace through Christ, spiritual kingdom, “love your enemies.” Christians aren’t under those ancient civil codes from The Old Testament anymore. The Quran is claimed to be eternal & final. 4 : 24 still permits sex with “those whom your right hands possess.” No “new covenant” to supersede it. Christianity has built-in progression. Islam treats its rules as timeless. That’s the actual difference.

@_NorinRad @mrddmia There is no Christian law supporting or condoning rape. You cited Deuteronomy 21 that's Jewish law, not Christian law. Quran 4 : 24 allows sexual relations with captive women, no requirement for consent. That is called rape today.
