A child doesn't go into hysterical screaming and crying like that unless there is real trauma and fear. It's an unregulated response when they are too young to process such an overwhelming emotion. That is the indication that the trauma was real. Too many children don't get believed and sexual abuse goes on for years. Thank God the woman in this story believed her daughter. I have friends who's mother's got mad at them for letting them know they were being sexual abused. I was abused at 3 and my family walked in on it. It was at a family reunion. My uncle had just been released from 8 yrs in prison for pedophile charges and immediately took another victim. There should be no mercy for these crimes. No children ever consented.
