@Nate26728458 @SpamDoubles @GlobalWresOrder Solid. I agree. I probably still reason out a way to get Carter in there but, if your list goes in this order, then I'd shrug and say, "you really think bonus percentage outweighs never losing at the tournament in 5 tries?"
And the cool thing is that we'd both be right.
English

@SpamDoubles @GlobalWresOrder I said it’s debatable. And Dake, Yianni, Stieber, Brooks, and Retherford all have arguments.
English

Statistically the best wrestler in NCAA history yet he has losses and Cael Sanderson does not 🤣
Makes sense for sure!
SpamDoublesRTC@SpamDoubles
Controversial Take‼️ In my opinion… @carterstarocci is STATISTICALLY the best wrestler in NCAA history. - 2021 Big Ten Freshman OTY - 3x Big 10 Champ - 5x NCAA All-American - 5x NCAA National Champ - 2025 Big Ten Male Athlete OTY - 2025 NCAA Tournament MOW
English

@GlobalWresOrder I don't like Iowa, like a lot. Before this season, the only positive I had to say about them is there fanbase is cool in person(never been to Carver)
Post-season comes and all of a sudden I'm rooting for a few of their dudes. None moreso than Gabe, though.
English

🚨When Gabe ARNOLD (IOWA) did the IMPOSSIBLE and turned DREAMS to REALITY‼️🐤👀
In 2026 - Arnold came into the season with no assurances. The only thing that was certain was that he was going to have to fight & claw for his spot in the lineup. Gabe stepped up to the plate all season and welcomed all opponents, regardless of weight class (wins at 174, 184, 197.)
Even still, when Iowa turned to him to be their post season starter at 197lbs - no one believed he could go from the #27 seed to becoming an All American.
But Gabe Arnold believed…
English

@MatScouts1 G is correct. D deserves some credit. You get SE Asia, Japan, and some Mediterranean? Plus, whatever N Australia is doing(I'm genuinely unfamiliar)
Some people like Indian food. They're wrong. Zero credit for that.
English

@johnnidijulius Those two are not remotely close. Earth is round. We PROBABLY went to the moon, but NASA lied enough to credibly doubt it.
English

If you’re an adult and believe the Earth is flat, even for religious reasons, you have lost credibility in all other areas of conversation. That goes for the moon landing too.
Earth@earthcurated
NOT FLAT…
English

@dbeshada1 And you weren't saying this either, but physical gifts aren't distributed equally. Mikey White comes to mind. From the admittedly little I've watched him, he's grown technically at an astronomical rate, but I've also never seen him wrestle a guy who can match his athleticism
English

@acaleb26 And, if you have the goals and the courage (I’m assuming most D1 guys do), but not the right training situation, then you likely won’t reach them.
That’s not the issue being debated here, though. Rather, the issue here is whether D1 programs develop athletes.
English

If you think Sergio Vega could have beaten Jesse Mendez a year ago, I’ve got a bridge in Brooklyn to sell ya.
Ditto for Starocci being a 5-timer coming out of high school.
Or, Christopher Minto making the NCAA finals as a sophomore.
Those are just 3 examples…
Keith Midkiff@jeffrsnbsball
@dbeshada1 Who develops wrestlers? Not any top tier program.
English

@dbeshada1 I mostly agree with you. What I disagree with was the "top tier" part that you responded to. "Top tier" programs certainly do, but so does everyone else. There are just so many reasons guys don't develop and I think it has more to do with distraction, injury, etc than location
English

@dbeshada1 And don't come at me about it requiring courage. Go wrestle a D1 guy for 15 min and tell me fear and doubt don't come flooding in your mind.
It takes a just little more than 15 minute goes
English

@dbeshada1 From where I'm sitting, it looks like it has more to do with the wrestler than anything else. A better training situation is still huge, but if you don't have the goals and the courage to chase them, it doesn't matter where you are.
English

Be on the lookout for the official “Propaganda” stamp! I call it like it is.
I wanted it in orange and black @LetzWrassle, but @WrestleChicago talked me into a more neutral look…. 🤣
More genius art from Ross, BTW!

English

@Gut_Bench69 @mrfasttwitch I somehow agree with both you and the top comments.
I've come back around to liking, if not loving, AJ. He just really could've used some WWE training on the mic with his time off. Wrestling is better with him on the mat. Less so with him on the mic
English

I wish AJ Ferrari’s faith encouraged him to shut the fuck up @mrfasttwitch
English

@cowboyurbanight This guy could walk out and pin Sadulaev and I'd still tell him to lose the polo.
No matter what hay has been made about his age, he's young and I did way weirder stuff at 19. Only slight judgment coming from over here
English

Lmao for those that don’t know, Jax rocking the polo is nothing new, I call it “business casual” 😂. The first time I ever met Jax, was at an OSU dual and he was rocking a polo with athletic shorts lol he’s always been about his business!
Urban Cowboy@cowboyurbanight
Jax working out in a collared shirt is why he’s my favorite wrestler rn lmao dude is a goofball
English

@zach_seyko Eh. Gay.
Cael wants to compete. No NIL or real transfer portal when he took over, but he'd have used it if he could. Case and point being either the best or second best wrestler he's ever coached. Supplemented by the guy who switched commitments(I think NLI's too, but maybe not)
English

Clearly Cael's fault...
He refused to use the transfer portal and NIL to his advantage when he was getting started!
The Low Single™️@TheLowSingle
Cael Sanderson’s first 3 seasons being a HC (Iowa State) - 2 Champs and 15 All-Americans David Taylor’s first 2 seasons being a HC (Oklahoma State) - 5 Champs and 14 All-Americans 🤠📈
English

@realistpokeanon Dude, I don't want to see one more @dbeshada1 post about Cowboy propaganda.
I say this too often, but I say it again. I love my Pokes. Mitch is clearly an all-timer. We have two bullets in the chamber to pass him up and the safe money is still on Mitch. 1 loss is crazy
English

@dbeshada1 A (very rare) non-wrestling post I'll interact with.
The answer is yes. Everyone who does not is wrong. Not everything is for you, but something in there is exactly the prescription to get you through your day.
English

@MatScouts1 There are people here who call the Capitol 'Okie City'.
They aren't all of the retards in Oklahoma, but they are all retarded.
English

Just submitted my official Hodge Vote.
