@Peter_Bukowski I am more concerned about the complete lack of big play ability there. A "great" game by our CBs is holding up in coverage, but this is a group that forces virtually no takeaways. Major ball-skills issue there ever since Sul left.

I am sympathetic to the concerns about CB play in GB, but even without Jaire Alexander the last two years, no team has said, "We are going to attack your bad CBs." This is not 2020 with Kevin King where teams would just throw at him all game.

Bringing back Aaron Rodgers would suggest the Steelers are OK with sneaking into the playoffs and then being eliminated in the wild-card round yet again. What self-respecting franchise would consider that good enough?

@PackersNotes Only caveat there is the Eagles pass rush compared to the Bears is like Miami FL vs. Miami OH. If Morgan can remotely play like a 1st round caliber talent, we should be fine against this team.

Barryn Sorrell has had the most disruptive 3-drive stretch of any non-Parsons defensive lineman this season. That's both a compliment and an indictment.

@zachkruse2 I get this but at some point, "bad luck" and blowing leads is part of your identity after it occurs every year. Late in games when we try to put it away, we often can count on 3 things: our Off not closing it out, our Def giving up scores on the last 1-2 drives, and a ST blunder.

Against their toughest 4-game stretch of the season (at DET, vs. CHI, at DEN, at CHI), the Packers held two-score leads in the second half of all 4 games. Took incredible bad luck to go 2-2. Does this team have a run in it? Sure. Why not? Finding it will take something special.

@PackersNotes It's almost comical. This is "raise the banner" type of stuff for them. You never apologize for winning but this is as close as you could possibly get to one. Lol.

Bears fans are awfully chirpy after their team needed a near miracle to beat a Packers team without Jordan Love, Zach Tom, Tucker Kraft, Elgton Jenkins, Micah Parsons, Devonte Wyatt, and Evan Williams.

@Ferd_Turgeson @zachkruse2 No need to be obtuse to promote an agenda. Golden's injury didn't just manifest yesterday. Packers clearly were leaning one way. This is just how the team handles banged up players and they've done so for years. There are times to be cautious, I'd argue this game isn't one.

The four primary WRs today will be Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, Dontayvion Wicks and Malik Heath. Watson is your man coverage beater. Need Doubs to make contested catches. Wicks slot. Heath had a career-high 4 catches for 46 yards in the 2023 Thanksgiving Day win in Detroit.

@PackersNotes Unfortunately, the Bears' fantasy season thus far, as well as the Niners surviving as they did with Mac Jones created this predicament. Needed one of those teams to have a few more losses by this point to create some cushion for that last WC spot, and it just didn't happen.

The NFC East and South will likely have one playoff team (probably Philly and Tampa). That would leave six teams - Packers, Bears, Lions, Rams, Seahawks, and 49ers - battling for five spots.
