It was hidden a bit because he had multiple challengers, but Jamaal Bowman’s performance in the 2022 Democratic primary in NY-16 was a pretty big warning sign. He got just 55% overall, and 52% in the Westchester portion, where he was <40% in 6 of 13 cities/towns.

AIPAC didn't win this race - Jamaal Bowman LOST it on his own. There are plenty of examples of candidates being outspent and winning (eg. Alsobrooks).
Progressives need to stop blaming everyone but themselves for their Ls. Grow up and learn from this experience. Get better.

Got to cover Jamaal Bowman's insurgent campaign in 2020. I remember telling people about his energy, talent, and sincerity. It wasn't enough this time, in the face of endless pro-genocide cash spent for Latimer, who will instantly become one of the worst Democrats in Congress.

I think people would be surprised how many boomers need to downsize in the next 5 years because:
- can’t do stairs anymore
- can’t do yard work anymore
- need cash to help kids buy a house
- have their entire net worth in the house and so need to downsize to pocket the difference or reverse mortgage it
Just because they’re not all going to pass away imminently doesn’t mean they won’t need to sell.
There’s so many of them, it’s not going to take that many to create inventory.
