Putin is helping our enemy, Iran. He should be punished for these actions, not rewarded. Same for his rubberstampers in the Russian parliament. Inviting them to the US when they are directly aiding Iran is inappropriate.

The man who killed an 84-year-old Thai man in San Francisco in 2021 got his entire eight-year sentence suspended by Judge Linda Colfax. We have received some messages regarding how to help civilians in the Middle East and how to help American soldiers deployed in certain countries. We responded: we will send experts and provide everything needed to protect them. Many issues are being discussed in this dialogue. If we are talking about increasing capabilities, we would very much like this to be a beneficial for both sides. We discuss this track. As of now it is too early to speak in detail. Next week, when the experts are on the ground, assess the situation and provide assistance – since they are coming with the capabilities to assist right away – we will proceed accordingly. Let us wait for the initial meetings.

As of today, Russia is not acting as an ally of Iran. Perhaps it would like to, but we have already seen it with Syria, and now we see it with Iran – I believe they simply do not have the capacity for this. All their forces are either buried in Ukrainian soil or engaged in the war against Ukraine. I am confident that the Russians are supplying the Iranian regime with weapons. We understand that they may be providing electronics for “shaheds.” I think all of this is found in the fragments of the “shaheds” striking the Middle East today. If our partners’ intelligence services share their information, it will be confirmed. Because Iranian “shaheds” contain Russian-made components. This is something we know for certain. What else might Russia supply to Iran? Air defense systems could be provided – they have plenty of those. From an interview with Rai Italia (3/5).
