Fable 5 burned 28% of my weekly limit AND used up my 5 hour limit with two prompts in about 30 minutes. @bcherny @claudeai how is this acceptable with a 20X plan? It’s unusable

@loonloozook @bcherny @claudeai Open up a higher tier for SMB power users so we can build and scale. Otherwise the gap just gets wider. It’s one thing for a Fortune 1000 to spend endless fees on APIs it another for small and mid size businesses to be at a disadvantage.

Fable 5 is finally back. I burned through half my weekly limit before breakfast and I regret nothing. But this chart should terrify Anthropic. GPT 5.6 Sol Ultra: 91.9% on TerminalBench 2.1 Fable 5: 84.3% Even GPT 5.6 Terra, the MID tier, ties Fable 5. And GPT 5.6 drops any day now. Anthropic's response? Remove Fable 5 from subscriptions on July 7. You do not win a model war by deleting your best model. July is going to be the most insane month in AI history.

@boldceo @bcherny @claudeai That sucks. I think they should make some room for error here and extend access. FWIW - I had an issue where it kept spinning up sub-agents... that was crushing my usage limit. Luckily, I interrupted and told it to stop. Also, I wouldn't use the goal / command with Fable.

On the flip side, I just built an entire dashboard which connects to WHM via APIs to manage my client hosting plans. Used 3% of my limits. Full Laravel and Livewire CRUD app. I’m not saying it’s anywhere near what Brian built btw, just adding an alternative perspective.

Strategy beats services. Anybody can sell the doing. The thinking is what they actually can't get anywhere else, and won't shop on price. Sell the plan. The work follows the plan, and follows you.
