There were two house of assembly seats contested for in Rivers state yesterday, Wike's candidates in APC won both. In Abuja, all the six area council chairmanship seats were contested for, the APC candidates he supported won five while his faction of PDP won the only one that APC lost. But the most interesting one is that of AMAC, Abuja Municipal Area Council. While all others are Abuja suburbs or what grammarians call satellite towns, AMAC is the centre of federal government offices and establishments. It is also the prime business center and home to foreign missions. And so because of all these and more, the coalition felt that they should put all their efforts in winning AMAC. Obi went to Utako market to buy a bottle of groundnut for N10k but people said that the woman who sold the groundnut to him ended up voting for APC. Amaechi abandoned the few followers he has in Rivers state to also team up against Wike in AMAC and so he went on the street buying and eating roasted corn. Dalung boasted that if they won AMAC, then Tinubu should start thinking of leaving Aso Villa in 2027. Some people said that he is the unwise Solomon. Atiku also campaigned for their candidate, one Dr Mo whose name I personally and sincerely think that would be better if he ventured into producing herbal medicine and call it Dr Mo Herbal Mixture. The man who is from Benue boasted that Abuja is not Obio Akpor and that they'll teach Wike a lesson but yesterday Abuja voters who are mostly Gbagyi, the owners of the land and who one of them is the APC candidate, showed the lousy man that Abuja no be Benue. APC won with 40k votes to 12k votes. And then I woke up this morning with a question in my mind and the question is how will these people who pull all their resources together for only one local government election yet lost to Wike think that they can defeat Tinubu in a presidential election? #SWA

In walking, we gather many companions; in running, we keep only the essential few. But flight, true flight, is always solitary. The walker trusts in common sense, the runner in principle, and the flyer in instruction. You can always tell where anyone is on their journey based on their character trait. 🪴

You want to know what Tinubu has done right because you are blind and can't see the coastal road. I also know that you're unaware of the NELFUND Student loan. I am very confident that the dualization and concrete roadwork on the ORE-AKURE Expressway are not visible to you. Perhaps you were not informed about the rehabilitation of the Shagamu-Benin Expressway. I am definitely certain that the strides in the Ministry of Interior, from prison reforms to immigration services, are just an illusion. The Sokoto-Badagry Highway is probably a joke to you. The reduction in our public debt may not seem real to you, and it will make it difficult for you to appreciate our rising foreign reserves. You will surely find it hard to comprehend the benefits of the tax reforms, and I won't be surprised if you struggle to appreciate the local government's financial autonomy. How bad is it that we are no longer indebted to the IMF? The drop in inflation is not good news for some people. The CREDICORP initiative is a mirage to you, and I wouldn't bother to elaborate on the achievements of the Federal Housing Authority. If I talk about the intervention in the rehabilitation of primary health centre facilities, it still won't make sense to you. I could go on and on about roads, but you might call it basic. I can also discuss the construction of new technical colleges and the provision of free tuition for all students. I know you will still complain. I won't even list anything the President has done right. I will allow you to keep wallowing in your delusions and complaints. It is PRESIDENT BOLA AHMED TINUBU GCFR TILL 2031.

Guinea-Bissau Coup: Peter Obi, Put the Fight Behind You! In my language, Itsekiri, we have a saying, which can also be a name, Ujaweyin. It means that the fight is behind you. I want to appeal to Peter Obi to reflect on the phrase 'Ujaweyin'. The #NigerianElections2023 is in no way, shape, or form like the coup in Guinea-Bissau. In light of the security challenges we face in Nigeria, it is rather provocative to draw an inference between these two unrelated events. Making such comparisons is a dangerous and desperate gambit. Peter Obi is not closer to former President Jonathan than I am. I called the former President while he was in Guinea-Bissau, and His Excellency also called me. Former President Jonathan did not, and will not, compare what occurred in Guinea-Bissau with what transpired during the 2023 election, because that would be juxtaposing apples with oranges. He called the Guinea-Bissau coup a 'ceremonial' one. But there was nothing ceremonial about the victory of President Bola Tinubu in 2023. In Guinea-Bissau, we had an incumbent President who looked set to lose the election and was suspected of colluding with the military to forestall the impending declaration of his arch-rival as the winner of the polls. To put things in proper perspective, the Guinea-Bissau Presidential election and the conduct of President Umaro Sissoco Embaló can best be described as resembling the June 12, 1993, incident in Nigeria. In Nigeria, none of the candidates in the 2023 election was an incumbent, and, for all intents and purposes, none had the backing of the then-incumbent, General Muhammadu Buhari. If anything at all, it was speculated by those who should know that the then Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, who himself wanted to be President, worked with some influential individuals to introduce fiscal policies targeted at one of the candidates. As for the conduct of the election, all international observers publicly stated that the polls reflected the will of the Nigerian people. For example, the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labour of the US Department of State, stated as follows: "National elections were widely reported to have reflected the will of voters." Moreover, as I said privately to people in the People’s Democratic Party before the election, if in 2019, when the PDP was united, we could not defeat the All Progressives Congress, how could we hope to vanquish them in 2023, when we had splintered into four, namely: The mainstream PDP The G-5 The Kwankwaso group left to form NNPP, and The Peter Obi loyalists who joined Labour? If you tabulate the votes the PDP, Labour, and NNPP received in the 2023 Presidential election, you will find they match the votes a united PDP secured in the 2019 polls, with slight adjustments to account for population growth. We just split it three ways! In 2023, the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress had 20 Governors united behind him, without even a single abstention. Additionally, the five PDP Governors of the G-5 cast their lot with him. It was just a matter of common political sense to know that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu would win the election. You, sir, challenged his victory at the Presidential Election Petition Court, and in your pleadings, you did not state that you won the elections. Rather, you pleaded that the then President-elect was not qualified based on a conviction, not winning Abuja, and sundry other flimsy reasons which were thrown out by the courts all the way to the Supreme Court, which spent less than five minutes dismissing your appeal. Therefore, on what basis are you likening the 2023 Nigerian election to the Guinea-Bissau coup? Peter, you lost the election fairly. You were not even second. You were a distant third. Let it go! I appeal to you to imbibe the spirit of Ujaweyin and put the fight behind you. You lost an election. But that does not mean that you should also lose your mind!

Holy matrimony happens in your parents' home, not in any church. Before you insult me, get Scripture and read it from cover to cover. If you see anywhere a marriage was conducted in a church or synagogue, return and collect $10,000 from me! Scriptural marriage involves a man and a woman, and if she is a virgin, then her father or guardian's consent must be sought and a bride price paid—Exodus 22:17. If she is not a virgin and the man still wants to marry her, then all he needs is her father's or guardian's consent. No bride price is necessary. But if she has been married before and widowed or divorced, only her consent is required. She just packs into your house and automatically becomes your wife—1 Samuel 25:42. There is no biblical account of priests, pastors, prophets, or apostles officiating at a wedding. Yeshua Himself did not perform any marriages or weddings. He was a guest at a wedding feast, not an officiating minister. And at the time He arrived at the feast, the wedding had already taken place. Now, there is also no such thing as a Registry Marriage. As the name implies, a Marriage Registry is a place where you go to register a marriage that has already occurred. The civil servant at the registry is not marrying you and your spouse. They are either recording your decision to marry or performing legally binding civil ceremonies, so that in future, you both can take advantage of the legal protections that the law affords married couples. One of the shortest verses in the Bible teaches us about how easy God made marriage. Genesis 24:67 says: "Isaac brought her into the tent of his mother, Sarah, and he married Rebekah. So she became his wife." Look at that. Only one sentence, and it captured Isaac and Rebekah's marriage ceremony. The only reason some churches insist on a church wedding is to make money. That church is just a business, the same way a shopping mall is a business, and will try to convince you to buy what you do not need. A church marriage is a European cultural marriage equivalent to your traditional marriage. It is not better or holier than anything you do in sub-Saharan Africa in the name of marriage. Follow Scripture, not your pastor or his church dogma! Reno Omokri Gospeller. Deep Thinker. #TableShaker. Twelve Money Rules That Will Put You In The 1% Stop buying things because you want to improve your status in society. Purchase stuff because they have utility value for you. Invest first and spend next. Don't spend first and invest later. Reduce your friends and increase your mentors, and your finances will increase while your bills will decrease. You don't need an iPhone 17. You are not 17 17-year-old. You are an adult with 17 more pressing responsibilities than an iPhone 17. Trying to impress people who are not paying attention to you will compress you financially. You only show off with money when you have little to offer yourself and the world. But when you have intelligence, achievements, ambition, and fulfilment, the need to use money to signal your status evaporates. Master Money, and nobody will master you. You don’t know anyone until you have had financial dealings with them. Therefore, don't lend money to friends and family. Give them what juju you can afford, and if you cannot afford any money as a gift, give them moral support. You don't owe them! The fastest way to turn a friend into an enemy is to lend them money. Borrowing to consume is consuming your future. If you must take a loan, let it be to expand an already successful business, for education, or for your health. Money lent to a wife or girlfriend is automatically considered a gift by the debtor. Save to invest because you can't save to grow rich. Reno Omokri Gospeller. Deep Thinker. #TableShaker. On Professor Amupitan's Appointment And The So-Called Yorubacentricism Of President Tinubu The appointment of Professor Amupitan by President Tinubu is the first time in Nigeria's history that a person of Lukumi Yoruba origin, who is also from the North-Central state of Kogi, has been appointed to head the Independent National Electoral Commission, and already, people are shouting that it is Yorubacentric. Nobody from the North-Central and no Lukumi individual has ever occupied that seat in sixty-five years. Why? Is it that other zones and ethnicities are more noble and trustworthy than this region and ethnicity? How about admitting the truth that it is a matter of qualification meeting equity? Since 1960, we have had the following Chairmen or heads of our election commissions: Eyo Esua (1964–1966) from Cross River State Michael Ani (1976–1979) from Cross River State Justice Victor Ovie-Whiskey (1980–1983) from Deita State Professor Eme Awa (1987–1989) from Abia State Professor Humphrey Nwosu (1989–1993) from Anambra State Professor Okon Edet Uya (1993) from Akwa-Ibom State Sumner Dagogo-Jack (1994–1998) from Rivers State Justice Ephraim Akpata (1998–2000) from Edo State Dr. Abel Guobadia (2000–2005) from Edo State Professor Maurice Iwu (2005–2010) from Imo State Professor Attahiru Jega (2010–2015) from Kebbi State Amina Bala Zakari (acting, 2015) from Jigawa State Professor Mahmood Yakubu (2015–2025) from Bauchi State From the list above, the North-Central and the Lukumi Yoruba are the two major region and ethnicity that have never occupied that seat. However, when President Tinubu corrects that error by appointing a much qualified Lukumi from the North-Central, the usual suspects are screaming Yorubacentricism. They did not say anything when under Buhari, Northern Muslim Males led the Executive as President (Buhari), the Legislative as Senate President (Lawan), the Judiciary as Chief Justice (Tanko), the INEC (Mahmoud Yakubu), as well as the Army, Police, Air Force, NSA, DMI, EFCC, DSS, NCS, NIS, NPS, and DIA! In addition to the Ministry of Defence, Nigeria has a total of twenty security and law enforcement agencies, including the Office of the National Security Adviser, the Nigerian Army, the Nigerian Airforce, the Nigerian Navy, the Nigerian Police Force, the Department of State Security, the Nigerian Intelligence Agency, the Defence Intelligence Agency, the Nigerian Immigration Service, the Nigerian Customs Service, the Nigerian Correctional Service ( formerly known as the Nigerian Prison Service), the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, the Federal Road Safety Commission, the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission, the Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit, the Federal Fire Service and the National Youth Service Corp, which unknown to most Nigerians is actually a reserve force that can be called up during emergencies. The question is this: Of these twenty security and law enforcement agencies, how many are headed by persons of Lukumi Yoruba origin from the Southwest? The answer is only six: the Nigerian Army, the Police, Customs, the DSS, the NYSC and the EFCC. And some of these six are Northerners. The Northwest has the highest share, as it also has the highest population in the country. Under President Tinubu, there is an ethnic balance in appointments, which is why, for the first time since 2015, a person from the Southeast is a member of the National Security Council with the appointment of Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla from Enugu as the Chief of Naval Staff. If anyone quarrels about Professor Joash Amupitan's appointment as INEC Chairman, let that argument be based on his qualifications or character, because the argument about his ethnicity, region and religion has fallen flat! Peter Obi, your desperation is affecting your mental health. President Tinubu did not forge any certificate. He was admitted, attended, and graduated from Chicago State University, and this has been proven multiple times. For the avoidance of doubt, I will list some instances where this was established for you: One: I visited Chicago State University on September 19, 2022 and verified from the horse's mouth that President Tinubu was admitted, attended and graduated from that institution. The institution also provided me with a letter indicating the above. vanguardngr.com/2022/11/tinubu… Two: The registrar of Chicago State University, Caleb Westberg, swore under oath that President Bola Tinubu attended and graduated from the institution in 1979. Please see punchng.com/tinubu-attende… Three: The BBC debunked your repeated lies that President Tinubu forged his certificate. Please see bbc.com/news/world-afr… If the Independent National Electoral Commission should disqualify anyone, it should be you, a man indicted by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists in their Pandora Papers, for fraudulently and illegally siphoning money out of Nigeria to hide it from the Code of Conduct Bureau. Also, in violation of your oath of office, you stashed over a hundred million dollars of Anambra State Government funds at a bank where you had substantial interest, money that enriched the bank and you in the process. Again, Peter, your desperation has deranged you to the point where your rants are blurring the lines between fantasy and reality, and you are now becoming so mentally unstable that you are attacking the INEC and belittling our beloved country in the eyes of the international community. Suffice to say that more Nigerians now see you for what you are, and you will never be President of this great nation. Reno Omokri Gospeller. Deep Thinker. #TableShaker. Peter Obi: Without Nigeria, Tanzania May Not Have Existed Today! One challenge I have with my fellow countrymen and women, which, sadly, is shared with many other sub-Saharan Africans, is that we hardly read about our history. Even sadder still, we are not keen on documenting our history. Earlier in the year, Peter Obi, a divisive Nigerian politician, had lied that Nigeria ought to learn from Tanzania because Tanzania had fully met its power needs. Because Tanzania is a country I have visited four times and because I grew up with Tanzanian neighbours, I knew he was lying. Tanzania shut its dams after Cyclone Hidaya hit the country, and it was facing nationwide power blackouts when Mr. Obi told his fib. But that is not the story. After I exposed Mr. Obi for the liar that he is, one of his Obidients, a rather prominent one, then sent me a missive, claiming that Nigeria was a big for nothing country that could learn from Tanzania how to govern itself. Obviously, the fellow, whom I will not name, in order not to disgrace him, is unaware that just as Nigeria did in Liberia, Sierra Leone, and São Tomé and Príncipe in the 1990s and 2000s, Tanzania is only stable today because of Nigeria's intervention. In 1964, Tanganyika, the original name of Tanzania, was facing a serious mutiny. Their army, then known as the Tanganyika Rifles, faced some contagious reactions from John Okello's revolution in Zanzibar mutinies against the elected government of Mwalimu Julius Nyerere, who, lo and behold, went into hiding. British marines then stormed the Tanzanian capital and overwhelmed most of the mutineering soldiers. But they could not last the distance and had to return to the United Kingdom, leaving the Nyerere government naked and vulnerable. At this stage, a desperate President Nyerere reached out to the Tafawa Balewa administration after an emergency meeting of the Organisation of African Unity. Prime Minister Balewa then sent the 3rd Battalion of the Nigerian Army, under Lt. Colonel James Yakubu Pam, to Tanzania, where they arrived sometime in April 1964. This prompted President Nyerere to come out of hiding and assert himself. Under Lt. Colonel Pam's leadership, the country was secured, mutineers who evaded arrest were traced and apprehended, and the Tanganyika Army, known as the Tanganyika Rifles, was disbanded. The Nigerian forces, under Lt. Colonel Pam, provided President Nyerere with the military muscle that led to the union of Tanganyika and Zanzibar and the creation of the new country of Tanzania on Sunday, April 26, 1964. The present Tanzanian Army is the result of Lt. Colonel Pam, who recruited and trained a brand new army, which was renamed the Tanzania People's Defence Force. But for Lt. Colonel Pam and Nigeria, Taganyika could have devolved into civil war. And in 2025, Peter Obi is belittling Nigeria in favour of Tanzania. Sadly, President Nyerere did not return the good turn Nigeria did him. During the Nigerian Civil War, Colonel Gowon appealed to President Julius Nyerere to support Nigeria in remaining a united nation, just as Nigeria, through Lt. Colonel Pam's forces, had helped Tanganyika during its own crises. But in a stab at the back, President Nyerere recognised and supported the rebel Republic of Biafra on Saturday, April 13, 1968, claiming that the Igbos would be slaughtered in a genocide if they rejoined the Nigerian federation. Tanzania was the first country in the world to recognise Biafra as an independent nation. The sad thing is that the same Lt. Colonel James Pam, who saved Nyerere's government, was himself killed by Major Chris Anuforo, the most blood thirsty coup plotter in Nigeria's history, on Saturday, January 15, 1966. He asked to pray, and Anuforo gave him permission, and then shot him while he prayed. In the attached photo, Lt. Colonel Pam is seen with Julius Nyerere, the man whose government and country he saved. Reno Omokri Gospeller. Deep Thinker. #TableShaker.
