@NaloVideo @3d_bohdan i think roblox studio just seems a lot easier to learn for me and more beginner friendly. luau is also WAY easier to learn then c# too

@caliph_dev @3d_bohdan Idk what you’re talking about, I’ve developed in roblox and in Unity, they have their own quirks but neither is harder than the other, both have free asset libraries or asset generation, both have similar filesystems, I would say Unity has a more confusing UX but not harder

"Just make a Roblox game bro, you'll be rich" Reality: you need game design knowledge, UX, strong communication skills, the ability to iterate quickly by listening deeply to the feedback, and at least one hard skill (programming or 3D) You need to know your audience better than they know themselves. AI can't do that for you.

"Old Roblox" can be credited purely to no Blender. We couldn't upload custom meshes. We instead repurposed hats from the catalog into models. The trunk on those palm trees are player heads! Those surfboards in the sand are squashed spheres stuck into the ground. 🌴

At first i thought it's not possible. After ton of itterations, lots of math, many braincell failures, i did it... ✅Zoom in/out with my "UIForge" plugin. Yes, you can ACTUALLY zoom without breaking locations/sizes of ui #RobloxDev #ROBLOX #robloxuidesign #plugindeveloper

@Cluvonix Thats what is called yes but it is not public yet, i am actively working on polishing snd improving performance of it ready for release!

@pa_ze2 @Mischief_RBX you do have a good point, i wish roblox had more support for ui creators instead of having to buy / use ui plugins

@Mischief_RBX not to mention that in most cases making UI like this tends to be more difficult to optimize, like 2d particle engines make 100s of imagelabels that you end up sacrificing performance for cooler visuals

@RoBuilderYT Vectors are a whole different skill to learn, thats why icon packs and alternatives exist. For importing, I somewhat agree if the cilent requests it

Hot take: building and modeling are the same job. Don't look for commissions if you cant do both, same for UI if you cant make vectors and import it don't call yourself UI Designer.
